## About the Role S&P Global is seeking a Global Head of Data Science to lead and scale data science initiatives across the organization. This executive role oversees data science strategy, team leadership, and the delivery of production ML systems in regulated financial environments. ## Responsibilities - Define and execute the global data science strategy across S&P Global divisions - Lead and mentor a global team of data scientists and ML engineers - Own the full model lifecycle from development through production monitoring - Design explainable models suitable for regulated financial settings - Drive innovation in machine learning, time-series analysis, and statistical modeling - Collaborate with business units to identify high-impact data science opportunities - Ensure compliance with financial regulations and model governance standards ## Requirements - 20+ years in analytics, data science, or ML systems in production - Deep expertise in statistics, machine learning, and time-series analysis - Full model lifecycle ownership experience - Experience in financial services or regulated, high-availability environments - Ability to design explainable models for regulated settings - Strong executive leadership and team management capabilities
