Staff AI Engineer

## About the Role MX Technologies builds data-driven financial experience technology for banks, credit unions, and fintechs. As a Staff AI Engineer, you will architect and scale production AI/ML systems that power financial data services for regulated environments — including RAG pipelines, LLM gateways, and agentic workflows that safely interact with financial APIs. ## Responsibilities - Architect and scale production RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines for financial data - Implement LLM gateways handling provider failover, load balancing, and prompt caching - Apply Supervised Fine-Tuning (SFT) and model pruning techniques - Manage dynamic context windows and build agentic workflow frameworks - Enable LLMs to safely interact with financial APIs within PCI-regulated environments - Provide technical leadership and training to product engineering teams - Enforce security controls: access controls, output validation, and integrity measures - Build automated evaluation frameworks to catch hallucinations before customer impact ## Requirements - Demonstrated experience designing systems that capture production feedback for ground-truth datasets - Expertise with BigQuery and VertexAI - Production experience with Python, LangChain, and LangGraph - Experience tuning and monitoring models in production - Experience in PCI or other highly regulated environments - Nice to have: AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, data engineering experience
