## About the Role ATLAS SP Partners is a leading provider of stable funding, financing, advisory, and institutional products for structured credit and asset-backed solutions. As Director of AI Innovation, you will define and execute the firm's AI strategy — building production-ready AI capabilities across investment and operations functions, evaluating vendor platforms, and leading a small AI engineering and solutions team. ## Responsibilities - Lead AI product design, custom GPT development, proof-of-concepts, and production AI capabilities across the firm - Define AI strategy, identify high-impact use cases across investment and operations, partner with Apollo on AI initiatives - Establish AI governance practices and responsible AI frameworks - Assess AI platforms, model providers, and toolsets for fit, cost, and strategic viability - Shape rollout plans, training programs, change management, and firm-wide AI operationalization - Lead a small team focused on AI engineering and solution delivery ## Requirements - 10+ years in technology, product, or transformation roles - 4+ years direct experience with AI/ML, LLMs, or process automation at scale - Financial services or regulated industry background required - Understanding of LLMs, vector databases, agent frameworks, and prompt engineering - Experience evaluating and implementing third-party AI platforms - AI governance and responsible AI framework exposure - Strong communication and executive stakeholder management skills - Preferred: Custom GPT or agent-based solution development; Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock experience
