## About the Role Anthopic is seeking a Strategic Finance Lead to provide finance leadership for compute infrastructure investments. You will develop deep expertise in AI compute economics and build financial models for training operations, serving as a key partner to compute engineering teams. ## Responsibilities - Lead accelerator compute budgeting, monthly forecasting, variance analysis, and financial plan maintenance - Create bottoms-up financial models with long-range forecasts and cost analyses for compute infrastructure - Analyze model training economics and ROI across different compute dimensions - Partner with engineering teams on financial optimization initiatives for infrastructure investments - Manage data partnership budgeting and unit economics - Support strategic decision-making around compute capacity planning and cloud provider negotiations ## Requirements - 7+ years in strategic finance, infrastructure investment, or related fields - Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities - Cross-functional communication skills with ability to partner with technical teams - Experience with infrastructure projects and capital expenditure planning - Bachelor's degree minimum; MBA preferred - Interest in AI compute economics and technical infrastructure
